Pastor Fowler’s Biographical Sketch
Dr. Fowler is the senior pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. The church averages 6,000 people during weekend services. Dr. Fowler is, convicted about speaking the truth as plainly as possible.
God has given him a vision and a passion for helping people meet Jesus, and each week he shares God’s word and its practical application in our daily lives.
A gifted author, mentor, and Speaker Dr. Fowler is ardent about helping people to catch a hold of what God has in store for them.
Kimberly Bailey Tureaud is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada and the daughter of Bob and Anna Bailey. She received her graduate degree in journalism from the historic Spelman College in Atlanta Georgia. Currently, Kimberly is the owner and publisher along with her husband, Charles Tureaud, of the largest distributed black magazine, Las Vegas Black Image Magazine, in the state of Nevada. It has been publishing now for eight years. Also, her company, Cultural Diverse Advertising & Events produces the largest diverse events in the state that includes: The Las Vegas Taste & Sounds of Soul that just celebrated its 15th year and The Las Vegas Culture Fest that will celebrate its 11th year this October 2016. Also, she assisted the Springs Preserve with developing the business model for their Springs Preserve Black History Festival.
Kimberly serves for the last 24 years as the creator and host of one of Las Vegas’ top business talk radio broadcast on KCEP 88.1 FM called “Enterprising People.” Kimberly’s radio broadcast focuses on business development and she conducts live interviews of top CEO’s and business authors from around the country. Some of the business development experts she has interviews included but not limited to: Rich Dad-Poor Dad’s Robert Kiyosaki, Ken Blanchard, and Brian Tracy just to mention a few.
Kimberly Bailey Tureaud is the mother of two boys, Jonathan and Brandon, and is the wife to Charles Tureaud.
Kimberly’s local and national notoriety affords her and her company the opportunity to accomplish targeted goals for their clients. Her motto is: “Keep It Moving (KIM)”…
Brenda J. Williams is a living model of Las Vegas history. She has been a significant trailblazer in Las Vegas, from integrating both the banking industry in 1963, as well as the workforce at the State of Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles in 1966. As founder and president of the Westside School Alumni Foundation, a 501-c-3 non-profit corporation, Ms. Williams memorialized the historic Westside School by publishing the Alumni book.attended Las Vegas Grammar School #1 (Westside School), Las Vegas High School, Nevada Southern University, Clark County Community College, and the Real Estate School of Nevada. She is a certified management analyst and holds a degree of achievement in Business Management.
Ms. Williams has had a phenomenal work experience. Her sixteen-year State of Nevada career ended in retirement from the Employment Security Department as the Adjudication Supervisor for the southern Nevada office. Additionally, she was a realtor in her spare time. After serving as Governor Richard Bryan’s West Las Vegas co-campaign coordinator for the U.S. Senator, she assistant in his 1988 election and 1994 re-election. She worked in Senator Bryan’s Las Vegas office as his Constituent Services Representative for 12 years. Later she retired from the position of Community Resource Office with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. In 2008, she was appointed to serve as Interim City Councilwoman for Ward 5 in the City of Las Vegas.
Since 2010, Ms. Williams’ primary focus has been preservation of the Historic Westside School and history of those alumni who made significant contributions to the growth of the City of Las Vegas and Clark County. “Westside School Stories: Our School, Our Community, Our Time (1927-1967)” book, which inspired and co-compiled, is an award-winning book which not only includes historic information, but is filled with stories and photos that support the importance of our history in Las Vegas. Under the auspices of the Westside School Alumni Foundation, she designates proceeds from the sale of the book to provide financial assistance and education scholarships to the underserved Las Vegas youth.
She believes in giving back to her community and has volunteered countless hours. She served as the Stakeholders Chairperson for the American Planning Association 2008 National Conference; Board member the Las VEgas Housing Authority; Charter board member and vice chairman of the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority; Charter board member of the Las Vegas Variety Day Home; Advisory board member of Catholic Charities; and was a member of the Las VEgas Community Redevelopment Recommending board.
Ms. Williams’ extraordinary service to the community has hardly gone unnoticed Highlights of her many awards include proclamations and other recognitions: 2001 Nevada Minority Purchasing Council award- Award for 2008 Award for Leadership and Expertise to Develop and Revitalize the Historic West Las Vegas Community – City of Las Vegas; March 2008 Women’s History Month recognition for contributions to the growth and strength of the City of Las Vega; Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority 2011 Award for Commitment and Dedication to Excellence; City of Las Vegas 2013 Historic Preservation Award in recognition of the Westside School Alumni Stories; 2015 Phenomenal Woman recognition; 2015 Award-Black Image Magazine. Ms. Williams has shared Las Vegas’ Black history on KNPR, PBS, the UNLV Web Portal, and other media streams.
In addition to advocating for her community, Ms. Williams volunteers at her great grandaughter’s school. She is the mother of three, with two grandsons, and a great grandmother of two. She enjoys golfing, gardening, and reading the scripture. She is a member at Victory Missionary Baptist Church.
Dr. S.S. Rogers is a man of God, and the Pastor of the Greater Mt. Sinai Missionary Recruiting Ministries Inc. He is also a Las Vegas Community advocate that is constantly looking for ways to better serve the people and the communities of both North Las Vegas nd Las Vegas, Nevada while maintaining his integrity.
Dr. Rogers received his Bachelor of Theology Degree in 1999, a Masters of Theology Degree in 2002 and Doctor of Theology Counseling Degree in 2003.
